Distance Learning is becoming an integral part of higher education. Virtual and Augmented Reality helps to imporve a studentes view on technical processes in the field of mining. MiReBooks in cooperation with the Chair of mining engineering and mineral economics held a distance lecture with virtual reality headsets. More than 20 students enrolled in the mining course had the opportunity to see current problems and solutions in a virtual setting.
