Video Resource 2.2. Drill-hole logging tool example

When using geophysics applications, the surface acts as a barrier for the positioning of the measuring instruments, limiting the accuracy and amount of information that can be captured. This barrier can be challenged by drill-hole application. Drilling the rock mass allows access to the same by lowering drillhole logging tools directly into the mineralisation. These applications provide more detailed information about the geologic features such as fractures zones and bedding planes.
